OUR STORY
The Pennie Foundation was created in honor of my brother Timothy; he passed away unexpectedly in 2024, and our dream was to start a business that was based on providing housing in Hampton Roads, Virginia, for Veterans. This was a vision we had as a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing to some of the vulnerable members in our society.
With a mission to raise awareness, connect with volunteers, and our focus is on creating a supportive environment for those in need. Join us in making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Pennie Foundation is committed to helping the most vulnerable people seeking to live in stable housing
Tim was a Veteran who served 26 years in the U.S Army. His memory will live on by helping others. That is why we are addressing the housing instability and homelessness in the community. Our mission is to provide clean, safe, and affordable housing for veterans in Hampton Roads, creating a supportive environment where they can rebuild their lives.
By offering transitional housing tailored to their unique needs, we aim to reduce veteran homelessness and empower individuals to achieve independence and personal growth. The Pennie Foundation strives to honor the sacrifices of our veterans by providing them with the stable housing.
$25 can help a Veteran in need of a bed for the night
$100 can help cover rent for the week
$500 covers one Veteran's first month of housing.
